Q: Tell us about your organization.

We use the practice of biomimicry to help innovators find inspired design solutions. We train professionals to be the next generation of biomimics, and we share the amazing ways that nature’s wisdom solves human problems with people around the world. Thanks to our cumulative decades worth of scholarship, research, writing, consulting, and teaching, we have a unique relationship with nature’s genius.

Q: What advice would you give to people in midlife who want to transition to a green job?

Trust us. There’s no wrong way to learn the practice of biomimicry. That said, given all the options and all the different ways people find and are inspired by biomimicry, it can be hard to know what’s the best path for you. That’s why we put together a short, 3 question quiz to help identify where to start, and outline ideas for the next steps. No matter how familiar (or unfamiliar) you are with biomimicry, it will lay out your options.
