Putting a Price on Carbon to Reach Net Zero

Day 2’s plenary will be held in collaboration with the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition (CPLC), to which the World Bank Group is Secretariat. Ministers, CEOs, and climate experts will come together to share their views on carbon pricing as a driver of decarbonization to reach net zero. Speakers will share their experiences of incentivizing action through carbon pricing and carbon markets.

Financing Transformative Climate Action

The final plenary of I4C will focus on the role of the financial sector to drive finance towards achieving countries 2030 climate goals and longer-term net zero commitments. Leaders from business and finance will discuss the tangible, proven solutions that the financial sector should be prioritizing ahead of 2030 and how longer-term pledges of financial institutions can be effectively tracked.
