A useful learning and networking opportunity for anyone interested in CDR: the Cyan #1: A DIY Carbon Removal Competition free webinar on September 10.
CYAN is an OpenAir generated DIY micro-carbon mineralizer that absorbs CO2 from the air by converting calcium hydroxide calcium carbonate.
On Saturday September 10th, three teams will participate in the first ever CYAN hacker competition, each competing to build the most effective and creative design.
Guests can tune in to see short presentations from each team, which will be followed by live carbon mineralization measurements and a jury review to determine best design.
This is the first of what will be a regular competition that aims to build a global community to accelerate CYAN’s open source evolution and continuous improvement. More details will be shared about upcoming competitions and how carbon hackers anywhere in the world can participate going forward.
