A useful learning and networking opportunity for anyone interested in climate tech: The AI for Natural Disaster Management free webinar on October 29.
Climate change is the most severe threat that humanity is facing today. Nothing matters to society other than slowing climate change and solving climate-related problems. AI has the potential to tackle climate change-related problems.
This workshop will explain AI/ML models can be used for natural disaster management, like predicting droughts, rainfall, assessing flood risk, and desertification. We will also discuss how ML models are used for water quality monitoring and also monitoring reforestation programs. Our speaker, Deepali, will also walk us through a few case studies she worked on and the platforms like Google Earth Engine and Streamlit.
