In December 2022, BASF’s plastic additives business collaborated with renewable energy solutions provider Noria Energy to install floating solar photovoltaics at its McIntosh, Alabama manufacturing site. The additives used to stabilize the floating platforms, made with polymeric materials, are produced at the site.  Attend this session to learn about this first of its kind floating solar system as well as future activities for renewable energy installations at BASF sites.
