When it comes to accountancy, Kevin Dancey has seen it all – he worked in the public sector as assistant deputy minister for tax policy at Finance Canada. He joined an accountancy firm, and one of the Big Four at that – PwC – rising to head the Canadian practice. And he took part and led various accountancy bodies – with perhaps his most famous trophy in the cabinet being to lead the Canadian accountancy profession’s unification, becoming CPA Canada’s first President and CEO after the merger.
