Q: Tell us about your organization.
SunVest made a significant transition over the past 18 months. We are now a full solar platform, which means we develop, construct, own and operate solar generating assets. This was designed to further drive enterprise value to the organization and participate in the clean energy market.
Q: What advice would you give to people in midlife who want to transition to a green job?
Don’t be afraid of technology. Embrace it and get trained on MS Office products.
Q: What are the skills that you believe will be required most in the short-medium term in your industry?
Communication skills. I feel midlife employees have an advantage here over younger entrants to the workforce.
