A good learning and networking opportunity for women (although not exclusively) seeking to switch to a green job, or interested in championing sustainability in their current job: the Wisconsin Women in Sustainability International Women’s Day 2022 free online event on March 8.

Our 2022 “Women in Sustainability Leadership Event” collaborators and co-hosts, USGBC Wisconsin & the West North Central Region, WSBC’s Women in Sustainability, Evolution Marketing, Kohler, and Appvion Operations, Inc invite YOU to join us on March 8th to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD)!

In 2022 we focus on being effective female leaders and #changemakers in the green building and sustainability professions. Our goal for the 2022 event is to educate and empower attendees’ about multidisciplinary work, interdecisplinary thinking, and how to apply both to the adoption of holistic sustainability strategies/ United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in our work.

In 2022 we are focused on being effective female leaders and #changemakers in the green building and sustainability professions. This year’s programming reflects the complex times we live in (i.e. ecological disasters/climate change, global pandemic, #blacklivesmatters, #metoo, and economic recession). The speakers will showcase tools and tips to help us all to move holistic sustainability and equity forward in the workplace by recognizing the interconnected and intersectional nature of the SDGs.

Join us for an educational and informative discussion with women leaders who are centering equity in their intersectional work daily.

Nicole DeNamur is an award-winning contributing author, and subject matter expert on the intersection of buildings with human health and wellness.

Caesaré Assad is the CEO of Food System 6 and is dedicated to building community and tending to pathways that offer collective healing.
