Retrofitting the Built Environment for a Net Zero Carbon Future: free webinar, September 13

A useful learning and networking opportunity for anyone interested in sustainable buildings: the Retrofitting the Built Environment for a Net Zero Carbon Future free webinar on September 13.

Cutting emissions from the built environment is urgently needed if we are to meet our climate goals. In the race to hit carbon reduction targets, existing buildings are the key. This event will explore the process and challenges of getting existing assets to net zero as well as the retrofit strategies that asset owners can adopt.

The session will start with David Feighery, Sustainability Associate at Cundall setting the scene by underlining the significance of this year and decade, then laying out the challenges the built environment faces if we are to play our part in achieving global climate targets.

Each panellist will then introduce themselves and explain where their organisation is on their climate change journey and what targets they have set and how they plan to achieve their targets. The session will then be opened up to a facilitated discussion. The discussion will be based around what the panellists are doing to address the challenge of getting the existing estate to net zero carbon.
