A multi-scale calibration approach for a digitalised energy system: free webinar, November 22

A useful learning and networking opportunity for anyone interested in renewable energy: The A multi-scale calibration approach for a digitalised energy system free webinar on November 22.

Let’s unpack the components of the digitalised energy system and asses together the steps of the journey. Leveraging the full potential of the digital transformation is key to achieving the 2030 and 2050 targets set out in the European Green Deal. Distribution System Operators (DSOs) across Europe are aware of the critical role they play in this endeavour and are committed to delivering a fast and efficient modernisation that serves both customers and the energy system. This time DSO experts will be joined by several experts in the energy sector and beyond to discuss the exciting opportunities and emerging risks of the digitalisation in the energy sector.

After the adoption of the Action Plan on the Digitalisation of the Energy Sector, this event is a first-ever comprehensive effort to depict how digital technologies could transform the European energy systems. The event assesses the data spaces, data sharing, digital twin grid management and thereafter looks into standards for data and interoperability, grid edge and tackles the investments in digital electricity infrastructure.

E.DSO is jointly organising this seminar with the Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy (DG ENER) and the Directorate‑General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT).
